Black Tea

2–3 g per 200 ml (approx. 1 heaped tsp)

How to Brew

    Bring fresh, filtered water to a full boil (95–100 °C).

    Warm your teapot or mug with a hot-water rinse.

    Add 2–3 g of loose leaf black tea per 200 ml.

    Pour boiling water directly over the leaves.

  5. 5

    Steep for 3–5 minutes depending on desired strength.

    Strain into your cup. Add milk or sweetener to taste.

Flavour Tips

  • A 3-minute steep gives a bright, lively cup; 5 minutes produces a richer, more astringent brew.
  • Pair with a splash of oat milk for a naturally sweet complement.
