☕ Coffee
Cold Brew
Smooth, sweet, and low-acid.
Amount
100 g coarse ground coffee per 750 ml water
Temperature
Cold / Room temperature
Brew Time
12–24 hours
How to Brew
- 1
Coarsely grind 100 g of coffee — similar to raw sugar granules.
- 2
Combine grounds and 750 ml of cold, filtered water in a jar or pitcher.
- 3
Stir gently to ensure all grounds are saturated.
- 4
Cover and refrigerate for 12–24 hours. Longer steeps produce a stronger concentrate.
- 5
Strain through a fine-mesh sieve lined with a paper filter or cheesecloth.
- 6
Store concentrate in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Dilute 1:1 with water or milk to serve.
✨ Flavour Tips
- •Room-temperature brewing (12 hours) produces a brighter flavour; fridge brewing (24 hours) is smoother.
- •Pour over ice with a splash of oat milk for a ready-to-drink treat.
