How to Brew

    Preheat the French press with hot water, then discard.

    Coarsely grind 30 g of coffee — grounds should resemble coarse sea salt.

    Add grounds to the French press.

    Start a timer and pour all 500 ml of 93 °C water evenly over the grounds.

    Stir gently once to ensure all grounds are saturated, then place the lid (plunger up) on top.

    At 4 minutes, press the plunger down slowly and steadily. Pour immediately to prevent over-extraction.

Flavour Tips

  • For a cleaner cup, let it sit for 1 extra minute after pressing to let sediment settle before pouring.
  • Coarser grinds reduce bitterness and sediment in the cup.
