Pour Over
Clean, bright, and nuanced.
Amount
15 g ground coffee per 250 ml
Temperature
93–96 °C (199–205 °F)
Brew Time
3–4 minutes total
How to Brew
- 1
Rinse your paper filter with hot water to remove papery taste, then discard the rinse water.
- 2
Grind 15 g of coffee to a medium-fine consistency, similar to coarse sand.
- 3
Place grounds in the filter, level the bed, and place the brewer on a scale over your cup.
- 4
Start the timer and pour 30 g of water (bloom pour) to saturate all grounds. Wait 30–45 seconds.
- 5
Continue pouring in slow, steady circles, targeting the total weight of 250 g by about 2 minutes.
- 6
Allow the water to drain completely. Total brew time should be 3–4 minutes.
✨ Flavour Tips
- •The bloom releases CO₂ from fresh beans — an aggressive bloom means very fresh coffee.
- •Pouring in slow circles promotes even extraction and a more balanced cup.
